I'm brand new to CCS and I'm trying to understand what I can do with it so I can design my app properly.
We use a Java app at the office and I'm wanting to make it behave similar (within reason) to what my users are used to.
I have a small .gif file that shows what I'm wanting to do, but I don't think I can attach files.
So here's what I'm needing.
I want to be able to search for customers, for example.
I have the search boxes and I want to customers that I find to fill the grid below. Okay so far..
Now I want to be able to click on one of the customers, and have it do an update of the data, or maybe show a picture or maybe view history. I'm sure I could put icons to accomplish it, but I might have 10 options and I don't want to waste all that screen space. What I would like is a combo box on the left side, filled with the options and when they select one of them, act upon it, for example, popping up an edit screen or something like that. If you can't visualize it, I could send you the .gif file.
