Hi
Am trying to create an editable grid based on three tables.
One Client has many Locations and each location has many Employees. Know how to make it all happen in Acess but cant figure it in CCS.

I would like to do various different things with these three tables, but cannot get the "editable" bit to work. For example cant update and delete. Unless I work only in the Employees tables which I guess is a possibility because it does have a foreign key from Location, which in turn has a foreign key from Client. But I thought I would attach the three tables via the query builder. When I try this can get grid results but they're not editable. Then read that I need to create a custom update and custom delete, for multiple foreign keys. But I cannot find the special parameter type called DataSource Column. Apparently need this for multiple primary keys. The only parameter types I can see are Expression, URL, Form, Session, Application and Cookie

What am I doing wrong?
Thank you.

Try with Custom Update / Insert / Delete while in design mode check the left side menu bottom (Data)

Thanks for this Feha, appreciate it.

Still having trouble with the parameter settings, "one or more parameters is missing". I am trying to update the Employee table, see above. Presume I am not doing the multiple primary key correctly.

Well, I have managed to delete records from the three tables (on one form) , excellent. Think I did this by creating two parameters in Custom Update and Custom Delete.

But have now introduced another problem, cant insert records.
"Database error: ERROR: column "client_name" of relation "tbl_client_employee" does not exist".
Not true, all lies. The coloumn does exist in the query. Anyway I'll figure it out. Two steps forward, three back. Maybe I need a third parameter in the Custom boxes.
