This must be a stupid question.

Now that I've upgraded my project to v3.0, CCS is generating href links to images and pages as absolute references to my local PC files.

For example, when generating a grid view, the icons used for the 'up/down' sorting, result in a img tag of:

<img src="file://Stingray/voodoo/Development/CodeCharge%20Studio%20Projects/project1/Styles/Voodoo/Images/Asc.gif" border="0">

The paging structure at the bottom of the grid also uses references prefixed with the projects local file location, e.g.
<a href="file://Stingray/voodoo/Development/CodeCharge%20Studio%20Projects/project1/{Page_URL}"

However, if I amend one of the columns in the grid to be a link to a different page, the link is correctly relative, e.g.

<a href="{visit_id_Src}">Over here</a>

I have scoured the project settings for something optional re local or absolute referencing, but it's got me beat.

Do you know what I'm doing wrong?!

Many thanks,
James

Hi,
If I recall correctly someone reported a similar problem that turned out to be caused by opening and saving the page with some Web editor, maybe FrontPage or Dreamweaver, I'm not sure.
But if you're sure that this was caused by CCS in your case then I think that support should look into this issue.

Hi Peter,

I'm not using an external editor of any sort - this is simply through the use of CCS.

What bugs me is that obviously it's not happening to anyone else - it would cause an uproar - but I can't see anything 'odd' about what I'm doing.

How do I go about asking support to look into it?

Yes, it may be difficult to determine why this happens in such rare cases. But the support can try to convert your CCS2 project to CCS3 and see what happens. If you would like to obtain technical product help please visit http://support.yessoftware.com.
