I went ahead and paid for CC, thus getting rid of the "made by CC" logo one
each page, but each page contains <meta name="GENERATOR"
content="YesSoftware CodeCharge v.2.0.4 / Templates.ccp build 11/01/2001">
Before some one tells me I can use my favorite editor to delete/change this,
been there, done that, however, I'm working with about 100 pages here, and
that will get pretty cumbersome. What setting in CC do I need to edit so I
can replace the GENERATOR tag with something of my own design?

Don't know how to do it in CC but I use a free tool called bk replacem to automatically do a quick update of many files
As touted from its website http://www.orbit.org/replace/...
"At its core, BK ReplaceEm is essentially a text search-and-replace program. However, unlike the search-replace functionality of a standard text editor, BK ReplaceEm is designed to operate on multiple files at once. And you need not only perform one search-replace operation per file -- you can setup a list of operations to perform. If different groups of files need to have different operations performed on them, this is no problem either"

There is no setting within CC that will let you do this. At best, you can use a search and replace utility to automate the process.
