My apps move from server to server and occassionally I strike the unusual date setup on a server which does not correspond to how I link dates parameters between pages, example my standard format is DD/MM/YYYY and what happens is that my receiving pages are set to DD/MM/YYYY the web server may occassionally be set to MM/DD/YYYY or D/M/YYYY which gives me hell as the link will generate as per the locale.
Therefore, as we have the capacity to specify on our input parameters how the date formatted coming in, why can we specify on our links the format of the dates being sent?
