Hi,
I am getting ready to install codecharge and was wondering about the mysql version I need to install. Appreciate anyone sharing the version that they know works welll with CodeCharge 3.0

AFAIK all MySql versions are supported and work well.
I would always prefer versions above 4 because of stability and features.
Remote, you are most likely to depend on you providers choice.
Local on XP products like WAMPP are very usable.
