SQLite is supported by most if not all of the languages, so why not support it, here?
SQLite is an excellent alternative/free/embedded database to Access. It would allow CCS to create "scaled down" apps very easily.
In fact, as a workaround, if I tell CCS 3 that I have an ANSI-SQL database and use ODBC, it'll obviously work in Windows (and I believe Linux, if using ODBC).
Then, under PHP, I can just change the database type to native SQLite support, and everything works, under either Windows or Linux....
On the other hand, why should this be a workaround on this popular database?

mikehoskins,
I have been using SQLite since CCS 2
In CCS 3 it is supported even better and a bug with join syntax was just resolved with the new CCS 3.0.3.1
I use perl and I just set the connection string as dbi:SQLite:dbname=....
ODBC is only used in the design mode
If you use PHP I think you have similar options
SQLite is the best database for small low volume projects it is very fast, robust and the database file itself is cross platform: I transfer db files form windows to freebsd back to windows with no problems !
Yes Software are aware of it - just check the drop list in the
Add New Connection -> Design Tab -> Database - one before the last

How right you are! They already have SQLite support!!!
Thanks!
Now, I wish I could just delete this from the "Wishes" forum.
