CCS 3.0.2.2 will stop working and support will tell you it's not thier problem, since IE7 is not released they do not have to deal with it.

This means you'll need an extra machine in order to test you product with IE7, we already have found several areas that will require us to change the way we code because of the way IE7 now functions.

Thanks for posting, I only use Firefox but it's good to know for testing.

Yes... IE7 really breaks CodeCharge and other editors. It seems to change all special characters, ie "{", to thier hex value and totally messes up the template system in CCS.

I didn't like much about IE7, except the new tabs, so thier is really no need to upgrade here. All my sites still work with it unchanged.

The good thing... Add/Remove programs puts IE6 back where it belongs with no problems.

Which means that YesSoftware has to be proactive and make sure that projects developed using CCS 3 will not break once IE7 is launched... :-/

From what I could tell the CCS IDE was impacted NOT the sites generated by CCS.

Could this be why the latest fix, CCS 3.0.3.1, has a problem with the application builder?

I'm glad I read this post first, because I was about to start a new thread. I'm thinking now, however, that my recent installation of IE7 beta, prior to updating my CCS, just set me up for failure.

I'm working on a .NET VB app with an MS Access DB. I'm using the application builder to add more pages to the project. After having gone through this applicaiton builder wizard many times before with no problems, CCS is now giving me the dialog window error message, "Invalid Search Page Name" when I attempt to complete the wizard. (This shouldn't happen because the Search Form is supposed to be included on the Grid page, which was already given an appropriate name.)

I think I will uninstall IE7. It didn't add that much to my experience anyway since I have Firefox and Opera.

Uninstall IE7! I had that installed when I first installed CCS and was very frustrated, thinking CCS was not working. After uninstalling I have had virtually no problems.

I hope they are able to accomodate IE7 being on the same machine as their software soon as it would be good to start being able to test on it. I don't believe the published pages will have any issues...just the dev environment.
