Re-posted from Codecharge.other

Microsoft announced that FrontPage is being discontinued. How will this
affect future development of CodeCharge Studio. Particularly the FrontPage
Plugin?

Here's the article:

Lets face it FrontPage "SUCKED!!" it was inevitable that it was being replaced / rewritten, especially with MS drive into sharepoint.

Asside from the obvious Frontage question I suppose this leads to the question how is CCS plugging into Sharepoint.

I know that dreamweaver is a NoGo area as they don't allow plug ins like CCS as that would be the preferred option for majority CCS users.

I think that we didn't have too many customers using FrontPage, and many of those who used FrontPage didn't use the add-in, just opened and edited their pages with FrontPage. Thus there is no big loss in the add-in, although FrontPage itself is a loss for some. We have many more DreamWeaver users than FrontPage.

Edd, I'm not sure though what do you mean by CCS plugging into Sharepoint. How do you imagine such plugin? What should it do? Or did you mean the upcoming Microsoft Expression Web Designer?
