My friend Maicon Mineiro Pegador Sinistro suggested a new feature to CodeCharge...To be able to work with multiple projects at the same time and if possible, to import/export elements between them.

Hi,
Have you tried starting 2 instances of CCS and working on 2 different projects? This should work.

Yes Peter...this works..I've been doing this when I want to work on 2 projects..

But it would be great to be able to import/export objects between projects and just as a matter of concept, 1 instance is better than 2 :-)

Thanks!

Peter, I do this also. However (version 2.3), I oftentimes lose the
database connection when doing this, and subsequently have to close all
instances of CCS to get it back. Doesn't happen all the time, but enough to
be annoying.

WinXPP, WAMP config.

How can you then finally combine the two projects to one page?

Thanx

I use this feature a lot! You can even copy grids and so on from one project page to other project page. It is advisable to use same connection name in all your projects so you don't have to change connection always when copying grids and record forms.

After copying (even ccs project pages via explorer) it is enough to refresh your project (for files) or refresh connection (right click and refersh) to update eventualy changes made in db.

The only thing that I maybe want integrated (but maybe not possible) is that it copies events with it. Now you have to manualy add these again.

I love CCS :-{}
