I cannot access any Microsoft sites & some other sites. So windows update doesnt work as well. My pc is a desktop compaq presario with xp pro sp2. I am using a laptop as well with the same connection & similar configuration & it works fine. So the prob is not with the connection but with the desktop. I tried many ways (clearing cache, registering dlls, etc) but no result. i had preinstalled xp home in this pc & then it worked fine. The prob started after i upgraded it to xp pro. This is killing me as i cant even get to some urgent corporate sites & also Mcafee site. Pls give me a solution!
