I am using .Net and am a beginner user.

The search screen creates a variable s_nMyLists which in turn shows only select items in the grid.

Next when I select the Link "ADD NEW" I want to use this value as a default value for my hidden field.

Thanks for your help.

I will answer my own question.
The following code gets the value from the URL in C#.

System.Web.HttpContext.Current.Request.QueryString["s_nListId"]
