while on one form and after update current table, I need to programatically update two other tables.
current table is a child table, the two other tables one is a parent the other is a child.

Omar,
You create and execute addition SQL statements in your "after update" event.
Just add addition sql..in format as below...and your field values used in the original update are still available to use within your SQL
updateSQL = "update users set status = 'x' where category_id= '"& fldFieldNAME & "'"
cn.execute updateSQL
