I needed to create basically similar pages, however I wanted to change one but not the other, I changed the page name, form names, but once i was done with the new page I ended up having 2 NEW page,All changes took place on the new page also took place on the originalpage.
I think this may be a bug or bad design! or I just might have missed somthing!

I assumed you used the "Save as Similar Page" option to create the similar page?
And you used a different page name? (I think it is possible to create 2 pages
with the same name, but I wouldn't recommend it.)

I noticed sometimes it is necessary to click on the new page in the Pages folder
because sometimes it will remain stuck on the old page. Perhaps this is what happened?

If you can list the steps in detail, like
1) Right clicked on PageX and selected "Add Similar Page"
2) Clicked on "Page1" and made sure the page options changed
3) ....

Then others here can try it to see if they can replicate the problem. It can
also help yourself in determining the mis-step.

I actuallu used the Ad Similar page not (save as), I then changed the name in the CC application to FileNew and did my changes but it affected the other page as well, at one point thou it stopped maybe after i closed the application, but that was a very costly mistake i lost all the cutom events code
