I received this every once in a while - when publishing (locally I think) I get the message:
This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem
I get buttons to 'Switch to' and 'Retry' - when I click on 'Switch To' the Start Menu appears, but doesn't fix it - the other button loops back to the message.
XP Pro Tablet, CCS 2.x
Anyone else encounter this and have a fix.

I would also contact support ( http://support.yessoftware.com ) to see if they have a solution/suggestion for this issue.

K,
Open CCS, Tools->Options, General
Find the tickbox "Close the FTP Upload dialog when uploading is complete"
it should be checked (V)
99% chance this solves your problem.
Please report back.

I'm still dealing with this error coming up - it doesn' t matter if i'm publishing locally or FTP'ng.
I'm on CCS 2.3.2.24
it is very frustrating - have to end task to get out of - seems to be only when generating.....

thanks, that's a newer version of CCS - and from postings it seems newer version is buggy'er.
i have 2.x version where that setting is not available
- have found reference to it being an IIS issue, restart the service and it sometimes goes away but, seems inconsistent fix.

I'm not sure if this is related, but I am occasionally encountering this error message with PaintShop Pro. I didn't spend much time searching for a solution and never fixed it but it looked like something to do with Windows.
I suspect that such problem probably cannot be solved at CCS level if it's not easily reproducible.
