When i first came across codecharge, it was the best thing ever in terms of RAD tools for database integration. However, I realised that some of the guys who were used to hand coding had a hard time accepting the fact that there was a program that did what they spent hours doing in a matter of minutes. The argument was that codecharge and other Rapid Application Development Tools encourage laziness and end up producing insecure applications. Even though apps created using some of this RAD tools are quite solid, some people still take that stand point which i find really flawed. At the end of the day computing has changed. The ability to do stuff that only so called geeks could do is finally in the hands of the common man with tools like codecharge.

I don't think so

You cut your development time and can spend more time on your creative ideas.

If someone is lazy than is lazy with or without RAD tools :-)
