I frequent this web community forum and learn a lot from it. I see that there is also a newsgroup for codecharge. I'm a newbie to any newsgroup and want to understand why use the newsgroup vs this forum. What's the diff?

The newsgroups are great!
It is the perfect compliment to the existing web community. I find that posts on the news groups tend to be longer than the ones on the web. There have been some REALLY interesting posts there over the last year and a half or so. It's worth looking into.
