Hi - does anybody have a forum project with the ccs and ccp files available? I took a look at the gotocode one and it does not the functionality that I need.
I need a tool that will allow myself, my family and doctors/nurses from both sides of the atlantic to share information about my fathers illness in a quick easy manner. I have already created a documents and audio files application to share these but I thought it may be quicker to put the call out to anybody here to see if someone is willing to share their project? I need to have the ability to create about 6 main topic areas ie diet, medication, todo list, studies, records and then we can create our own underneath ie medication>pain, medication>cancer treatment, medication>diabetes and so on. just like in this forum where a set of main topics have been created but as users we can create our own topics in these areas.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated - I am not looking for the worlds best forum - just something that offers more functionility than the gotocode one

I hate to mention it but how about http://www.phpbb.com/
It runs 'out of the box'. I see little point in re-inventing the wheel, it works very well and is easy to set up. In an emergency go the simplest route I would suggest.
It also has a very active support forum and its free.

I took a look at phpbb and it is perfect for my requirements! I have already downloaded it, read the docs and uploaded it. All within the space of 1 hour I had a fully functional forum.. THANKYOU very much, you are a diamond geezer
