Hi,

I've got the guts of my first useful site working in CCS. I want to make it 'prettier' and I've been wondering if/how y'all use Frontpage integration vs. simply using FP as the external editor for HTML while working in CCS as the main IDE.

IOW: Are there real benefits to working inside FP as the main environment and then calling CCS as needed or is it 'better' to use CCS and launching FP as needed.

I've been fiddling with the FP integration for a while today and I'm not really seeing how it can help me. OTOH, I'm a newby at this stuff so I'm definitely open to enlightment.

Thoughts? Ideas?

THANKS!

---JC

Basic recommendations:

In Project Settings you can define a separate directory for the HTML templates, DO use that.

If opening any HTML in an external editor, always have a backup of previously setup template directory.

Microsoft FrontPage Integration
CodeCharge Studio can be installed as an Add-In for Microsoft FrontPage. The Add-In extends Microsoft FrontPage using a set of code-generating Builders, a project explorer, properties browser and code editor. FrontPage users can use all of CodeCharge Studio's features directly within their familiar environment.
