It would be nice if in the VQB you could save your query with all the Visual table and linking information and reload it into new pages that you design later.
I realize that you can copy and paste the raw SQL query from completed pages to new pages, but you do not retain any VQB display information when you do this.
OR
Program the VQB to parse queries and recreate the visual environment, much in the way Navicat SQL GUI does.

Excellent request! I oftentimes create and print screenshots, just for this
purpose of knowing what the query ought to look like. Kind of a PITA.
