Will it ever be possible to have a CCS version compiled for Linux operating systems...?

I agree with you, yessoftware should provide a pure linux release, including java, php, perl
since more and more people in companies use only linux
I suppose this is a huge work to reach it
or there are already equivalent rad products ?

It would be nice, but I don't see the market for it. Many Linux tool companies have leared that - people don't want to actually Pay for anything.
So, as long as this tool Generates Code that can run on a Linux server, I think they have gone as far as they need to go in the Linux world.
Just one opinion.

And a workaround:
VmWare Virtual machine on linux (free)
Win Xp (not free) + CCS (not free) + Xampp (free)
Works and performs OK!.

I sincerely hope CCS is NEVER ported.
I have lived through numerous tools being ported to Macs and Unix and they all end up killing their base market because their tools become restricted due to migration issues.
What is the percentage of the "database" developer market that is not windows based? 3 to 5% at the absolute tops. Of that percentage they are usually the "open source" zealots so you are down to 2% of 5% of the market if you are REALLY licky.
I think any money would be better spent on Ajax integration products.

Pretty irrelevant, IMHO, what platform CCS runs on (the IDE).
My projects run on both Windows and *nix boxes running every type of datbase
you can imagine, running on every OS you can imagine.
The importance is that the output generated by CCS runs on Linux, and not
the development environment.
