I just set up a test system with Windows Vista RC1, has anyone been able to run CCS in Vista?, I tried running the program as an admin and the XP compatibility mode with no luck.

Also tried installing with my serial number and in trial mode and in both instances reports an invalid license key.

Any help will be appreciated

I just tried Vista 32 Bit RC1 English Build 5600.

CCS installs... but when I start up the trial mode,
Vista puts up a window that says CodeCharge Studio 3 has
stopped working. In the program bar- the window title is
Initializing Multilingu....

I haven't tried XP compatibilty mode yet...

I have also tested CCS with Windows Vista, did not work.

Tested with the latest CCS2 (still have some projects on that with no time to convert) and latest CCS3.

Tested in Windows Vista 32bit RC1 build 5600 - stopped working before activation screen
Tested in Windows Vista 32bit RC1 build 5728 - better, but stopped working on loading multilingual support

I submitted reports to Microsoft for each test, they will hopefully fix some of the issues involved before release.

I hope some of the developers at YesSoftware have kept in contact with the Microsoft guys who got copies of CCS off you, as I'm sure there will be a lot of demand for a fix once Vista is RTM.

Wow. Spooky.

What's the latest date for when Vista is rammed down our throats, um, I mean, released and getting preloaded on PC's? :-)

Vista will kill many Windows applications unless they are updated. We should be able to resolve any Vista compatibility issues before the initial and official Vista release.
