Your question depends on your environment and whether or not it meets or exceeds the software (CCS 3.x) requirements. CCS performs very well for me in all of my environments. I personally have not had any performance problems.

Not sure we're talking about the same thing.

Many of my competitors are resorting to selling their services based on their W3C standards compliance.

So I thought I test a few of my CCS sites - they all failed?

Do you have any link to a clear, concise overview of what it means to be W3C standard?
