Any info available on some very large successful projects built with CCS?

Anybody build a nice, big, fat government application with it? :-)

Would a 'Yes I did', suffice?

I built a corporate intranet for TOYOTA that started in CC almost 5 years ago. The latest version was built in CCS 2. There are lots of sub projects in it from image galleries to demo booking systems and sales league tables, marketing support materials centre (shop).

Intellect (see showcase) is a big project which toyota also use and carries 48000 records.

The only thing I have problems with is the CCS upgrades. I always have problems with upgarde versions messing up my projects. I had one last weekend when a touch screen keyboard project done 6 months ago got messed up by the latest upgrade. So for now I'm not upgrading just yet. I'm sure its me not CCS.

Having said that CCS is superb and everytime I go looking for an alternative I always come back. Although I'm looking at a couple of other options just to cover myself.

I did a casting software with CCS2 to manage castings for tv projects.
Right now 300 user working day by day with app. 80000 records with 200000 pictures over vpn from different locations.

The casting software includeds online registration, casting date and time managment,
qualification, extensive search function, booking and locking of actors for tv projects.
Besides that individual and mass mailing, etc....

It's working very good with CCS2, but like Waspman said, allways trouble with CCS upgrades messing up the project, especial with Custom Code.

Right now a stay with CCS2 with this project, because I can't work it over for every upgrade.

I see no alternative to CCS for rapid database web development..

It's good to hear of these.

I'm also spooked by the multiple comments regarding upgrade woes.

We developed an app (PHP) with CCS2 to control the replacement of LPG (liquified petroleum gas) vessels in Colombia. Now the database (MySQL) have more than 9'000.000 records, and the app still working. We developed and managed (operated) the process for 4 years. Now, other company have the control with our software, developed entirely with CCS.

We are using Cold Fusion, IIS and MS SQL Server for the casting application.

CCS3, VB.Net, MSSQL2005.

Porting the most expensive (and complex :-)) Post-funding Quality Assurance software for Mortgage Bankers and Investors.

CCS is used as a framework.
So far CCS3 rocks, no problems, development is on schedule.
Some interesting features already implemented or will be implemented, like:
- menu tree, questionnaire tree (Teletik)
- authentication with OTP (one time password) integrated into an application (not standalone auth server) (CryptoCard)
- interfaces with 3-rd party service providers (CreditReports, PL, TIL, etc.) via web-services with XML data mapping and transformation using MapForce (altova).
