Hi,
I know what I want may be very much absurd. I'm new to ASP/MS-Access.
I have downloaded Bookstore & successfully implemented it for my friend's bookstore.
When I saw the "categories" section in Bookstore, I really thought if it was possible to have same types of automatically generated sections(controlled from Admin section)kind of database driven categories for my personal website too. Like I said, I'm a newbie, so anything except "Hello world" is a hard thing for me, ha ha ha.
Also I was wondering if it was possible to have Yahoo-like directory system.
I hope I get help here.
Thanking you all in advance,
PB.

As to Yahoo like see Classifieds example.
It's all based on CC Tree Forms.

Alex Alexapolsky,
Thanks, I saw "classifieds" of CC, I liked them a lot.
& what I was saying regarding the dynamic links for my personal website were very much like the ones as shown in "Classifieds" I want my links to be accessed through database & to be maintained through Admin section, is that possible? If so, is there anybody who can please help me out with it?

Marco

are you posting this http://demo.adenin.de/toaster_en.asp because its made with codecharge ?

if not , why , its like me posting

try wizzyportal from wizzyportal.com , if its got nothing todo with codecharge, its not really a helpfull answer.

to the Poster..

why do you not just try the 'Portal' Example, instead of the Bookstore example?
or if you want to delve deeper, find the ccs code for the gotocode.com website example.

I have a bookstore that I would like to put on the web. It is a specialised bookstore and so Not for everyone (only genealogists etc).

I have my catelog in an SQL database and would like to incorporate it into the bookstore web site. How do I do that? Maybe its me but I cant seem to understand how to get the website working on my Host's server. They have SQL server capability and all that.

Do I upload the whole code to the server?
Do I change the parts needed to their server location?

I am really having a problem with this and If anyone could help me I would be so greatful.

Being as old as I am I dont really understand this sort of thing so any help would be useful.

Thankyou
