PeterR,

This is a question of vision. Where is CCS heading.

This does NOT hold CCS to any obligation as markets change every day, as it does every day, but there must be a vision where the company is heading with CCS.

The changes that you are implementing in 3.1 are part of the short term viision - that would surfice for me.

Good question, though it probably cannot be answered due to legal/confidentiality and planning reasons.

My opinion:
Long-term vision and ideas driven by innovation are rarely disclosed by serious companies, except those that talk a lot and take Vaporware Awards ( http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,70143-0.html). Often they have to announce working on something due to pressure from investors or customers, especially in gaming and software areas.

Short-term ideas are never finalized until ready while half of them get killed during the research or even implementation stage.
We too already had bad experience with customers complaining that we mentioned this or that but haven't delivered. And I promise you that there would be more people complaining if we mentioned anything specific and later had to change plans. So we'll be nice and deliver surprise gifts instead :-)

Though you can also consider any reasonable Wishes posted in the Wishes forums as one type of roadmap. We're looking at many of them, researching some, and implementing others.
(though yep, in terms of your question we're at square one...:-/)
