Hi All,
we have a rather largish app written in Codecharge ASP. We have also been doing some development in asp.net using Visual Studio.
Has anyone converted an existing app from ASP to ASP.NET using codecharge? I suspect it will mean a full rewrite which I was hoping to avoid. If anyone has a series of steps that speeds the process, or general advice I would be delighted to hear from them.
Regards
David

I don't mean to answer your question, but could you also specify if you have a lot of custom code. For example an application without custom code could be converted in a few minutes - you'd just change the language from ASP to VB.NET or C#. Manual conversion process would be centered around custom code and I'm also curious how others deal with it.

Yes - only the custom code in events would need to be converted to a different language. The more of it you have the longer it may take to do the switch. Though you can always try converting events on one page and see how it goes for you.
Also make sure that you have not modified the generated code as this could be a show stopper.
