CCS generated code runs great on the latest Firefox RCs
and the IE7 Betas- but I have kept IE7 off of my development machine.

I didn't expect that CCS would work with the
earlier IE7 Beta/RC versions- so I kept it on seperate machines ..

but now that Microsoft has officially released IE7 I wanted to check
before installing it ...

Does CCS co-exist on the same machine with the
IE7 release from Microsoft?

thanks,
-bill

Hello,

Please re-download CCS 3.1 Preview from http://www.yessoftware.com/download/files/CCStudio3_1.exe to update it to version 3.0.99.75 which now should be compatible with MS IE7. We may announce this version as a temporary patch if several customers could confirm that you're not experiencing problems.
There are no additional changes planned for 3.1, however, this version is still undergoing testing under Windows Vista, and IDE being translated to several supported languages.

Thank you.

Yes, it's now scheduled for Friday this week. Probably only without all Vista-related fixes (it may work with Vista RC1 but not the new RC2).

Hi all,

In preparation for tomorrow's 3.1 release we have already updated the 3.1 preview version to the one that most likely will be released (3.1.0.1):
http://www.yessoftware.com/download/files/CCStudio3_1.exe

This version is currently undergoing automated testing and if no major issues are found it will be officially released tomorrow (Friday). However, if anyone likes to give it an early shot and check if it doesn't just blow, here it is already.

No major changes were made since the previous version 3.0.99.75 except:
- fixing a crash under Windows 2000 with IE 5.5
- updating IDE translations
- improving Vista compatibility (CCS 3.1 launches under Vista now but some database operations still don't work)
