I really need some help with a linked listbox problem. I have read just about every entry for listboxs in the forum and none really help...... I am a poor ASP novice and java just confuses the hell out of me. The problem is
I have two listboxes. What I need to do is to allow the user to select an entry in the first listbox which filters the contents of the second list box.. Unfortunately I need to use the entry in the first listbox to lookup two values from an access table and then use these values to filter the entries in the second list box using "Like" %value% SQL statement. I have used the listbox example in CCS tutorials using the URL and get it to work well or simple applications .... but this new problem (with added SQL statements has me beat. I know Java must be the answer ..... can anybody help Please......
Any help would be gratefully received

I think it is not so difficult, you can use Ajax, refer to examples from
book <<foundations of ajax>>.
You can use the first ListBox's onchange event to activate the event.
BTW, never forget to add a custom event beforeExecuteSelect to the second
ListBox, You should fill second listbox's value pair according to the
first ListBox's current value.
Best Regards!
