Job Description:
iRobot is seeking an experienced Code Charge Studio developer with a strong knowledge of ASP to help upgrade our Government & Industrial Robots Support site. The developer must be comfortable working within the confines of CCS 3.1 and be able to extend the functionality with custom code and server extensions. The developer will be managed by iRobot’s webmaster. The project will start immediately and end on the first of the year. The developer will be required to work at least 25 hours per week.
Requirements:
- 1 year experience with CCS 3.1 (well, 3.0 because 3.1 just came out)
- ASP expert
- DHTML expert
- SQL Query expert
- SQL Server 7 (or similar) expert
- Familiarity with IIS server extensions like ASP Upload
- Strong background in extending CCS search functionality
- Design for analytics
- 3rd Party E-commerce transaction system experience (e.g. yahoo store)
Pluses:
- In or around Boston, MA
- Experience with PDF searching from the web
- Flexibility to changing priorities
