The migration process dos not rewrite properly the application conncetion scrip
thus it is require to rename and rerename the connectionin order to obtain a proper migration of a project from 3.0 ..
I hope this is the worst it too me 2 hours to figure out wher was the pb ...

Be sure you publish the ENTIRE PROJECT (F9) once you open it in 3.1. Otherwise you will definitely have problems.
