i want to do a dlookup for a grid control in the beforeshow row event:
I know how to do a dlookup for a control in a record form, but how do i do a dlookup for a control on a grid in say, the beforeshowrow event.
specifically, if the "thegrid", and the value i want to lookup is "thecode" how do i reference "thecode" in the criteria parameter? i tried thegridthecode.Value with no luck
yet i belive that if this were a record form where the record was named "therecord" and the control to lookup was named "thecode" that i would reference it as therecordthecode.Value in the beforeshowevent for a control named
"thecodelable"
or if you could point me to the doc that deals with this i'll figure it out.
