I need to come up with an application for our customers to order parts online. I am working with the bookstore example and I think I can make it work, but there is one issue I do not know how to solve.
We have discounted pricing for our biggest customers.
I am trying to implement the following:
In the Login or customer table I want to add a [discount factor] field.
After the customer logs in, the parts pricing should reflect [parts price*discount factor]
What’s is the best or easiest way to implement this.
I am working with MySQL and PHP.
