this is for c# .net 2.0

I created an editable grid using the builder and made a feild a dropdown. I set the property of the dropdown to a table. I have 10 empty rows show up and the dropdowns populate and I can save the entries no problem. If I open the page agian the rows fill up but the dropdown control does not set the value to that of wich is read from the database. Sonow if I try to sacve any changes all of the rows have the same value in the dropdown or I have to remember what they all should have been and change them again and save.

How do I get the Dropdowns to display the correct vale from the database record that is loaded into the grid.
