i don't manage our sharepoint site, but it seems it was a simple task to embed my project into the team site. To me it looks like sharepoint embeded my project inside an Iframe. As for my project i simply published as usual, and gave the sharepoint administrator the url.
I think this article, while not speaking to CCS does describe how another applications "calendar" gets embedded in a team site.
