is there way to successfully convert a CCS project from version 2 to 3 without have to regenerate every single page in the project and rebuilding some of those with include files? i need to convert a huge project to CCS 3 and it would really costly to have to regenerate and (in some cases rebuild)every single page.....any ideas?
thanks

Go to the customers site in Yes software and put in your Customer Key.

There is a conversion utility that does 60 - 80% depending of your screens.

The jump from 2 to 3 is awful but worth it( I am still converting bit by bit)

Where do you see this conversion utility?
Can you provide a url? I didn't stumble on it.
Thanks

This might be due to Microsoft IE7 and other Windows updates. Check with support for the latest patch for CCS 2.3. This should be the latest anyway: http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=82845

In many cases conversion from CCS 2.x to 3.x simply involves opening the project and pressing F9 to generate all pages. Why would regenerating all pages (pressing F9 once in CCS) be a problem?
There may be other steps involved in some projects but you won't know until you press F9.
