We upgraded from CCS 2.3.2.2.7 to CCS 3.1.0.2. Since the upgrade does not require the previous version of CCS, we wanted to uninstall that version but there no longer seems to be an uninstall file and all we get is an error when trying to uninstall via Add/Remove Programs. I didn't find any posts on the forums that addresses this so can anyone adfvise how to get rid of the old version? It's just taking up disk space.

Thanks,
Stretchr

I would contact support to see if they can assist you ( http://support.yessoftware.com ) . I personally have not had any problems uninstalling the old versions of CCS.

I have the same problem. I contacted support but have not implemented their solution yet. Their recommendation is to go into the registry and whack out the 2.0 stuff (which in my case is shown below). I've posted the comments below. Let me know how you make out.

Hold - Proposed Solution
Response Hello,
1. Please remove or backup (in case there are no any custom projects, styles and etc in this folder) folder with prior version (Program Files\CodeChargeStudio)
2. Remove from registry the following keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio\Version
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio\Ver

This should fix the problem.

Normally you can easily uninstall the CCS using the installer by selecting the "Remove" option from menu or "Add/Remove Programs" applet of the Control Panel.
This problem can have occurred if you renamed the CCS folder manually after installation. Or maybe you have already uninstalled the software and you what you see is a project folder(left after uninstalling). Could you please open "regedit" program in Windows and find the following registry directories:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio2
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio2
Please let us know the result.

Best regards,
Greg

Worked just as promised.
