Hi,
Is there a way to recompile an application without regenerating code for every page? This takes forever in larger apps. I would think that because the app explorer allows me to just generate a single page, it should give me an option to compile the app WITHOUT regenerating every page. If I mod and generate one page, but don't touch other pages, why should I have to regenerate them? Do I need to build a command line .BAT to do the recompile?
Thanks,
Scott

I think that you don't need to recompile the whole application when using .NET (2.0) and you can just use the quick publish feature. Which programming language are you using?

Peterr, I will use this topic and tell that Java need regenerate all project, or only a page, if we change something.
And this take longer with large app.

Peterr,
I am using C# .NET 2.0. Can you tell me more about the "Quick Publish" feature? Where do I find it; how do I use it,etc?
Thanks,
Scott

These are various publishing options in the Project menu, like Quick Publish and Quick Live.
Actually with .NET 2.0 you can use all publishing options, including publishing just one page or quick publishing it. You don't need to generate all pages.
