I am writing an application with Version 3.1 just now but I have written one using 3.0 in the past.

I have a form with an input field with a data type-date. It is formatted as short date with a default value of currentdate. The strange thing is that this field will not put any value onto the table column no mather what format I use -- mm/dd/yy, general date or others.

I used an older form written under 3.0 and re-published it under 3.1 and it works fine but all the forms generated with 3.1 does not have a working date input field.

So whats wrong here? Hope someone replies...

Regards to all.

Did you correctly format the property DBFormat for the date field to match the format in the database??

Hi! If you are refering to the project settings-- yes I did match them all as mmddyy to keep it simple. That's why I am so lost as to what is wrong with it. All date fields are not writing data from form to table.

I was talking about the DBFormat for that specific field not for the project. Try these links:
http://docs.codecharge.com/studio31/html/Components/Pro...s/DBFormat.html
http://docs.codecharge.com/studio31/html/UserGuide/Form...msManually.html (checkout configuring form fields - you should see the DBFormat in the second gif)
