Hi,
Please do help if you know the answer:
I have one hidden field in the page called 'user' i want to get the current logged in windows user and update this field when i click submit. please help me

What logged user you are mean? The identity of browser user? It's possible only inside Intranet and only when Windows authentication is enabled in IIS or web.config file. In such case you can obtain user login via
Page.User.Identity.Name
