Hi,
If I have a record form where a user enters in a new record, I'd like to notify them that the record has been added or updated successfully. I'm using SQL Server on the backend with stored procedures to update records. If I launch a RAISERROR message it will display in the Error filed of the form. This isn't the best idea, though.
How can I notify a user that thier record has been saved when they hit Submit?
Thanks!
Scott

I'd point the record form to another page that displays confirmation message.

Thanks, Peter.
That's not a very "attractive" solution, but it does work. I like the idea of doing a popup box or writing to the {error} label on the same form. Do you have any ideas or examples of what I would need to pop a javascript Alert box after update or insert? I may have just answered my own question, but it would be helpful if you or any others had some sample code.
Thanks!
Scott
