Hi, I am having a problem with the file upload tool on an editable grid. (Insert only)
My settings are:
Control Source Type - Database Column
Control Source - Image (Database Field Name)
Temporary Folder - C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\HRCC\Files\Images\temp
File Folder - C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\HRCC\Files\Images
Allowed File Masks - *.jpg;*.gif
When I upload the file, it appears in the folder ok but when I check the database field, it is empty. I expected the file name to be entered into the database when submitting. The database field is formatted as text. There are no error messages when I submit.
Have I missed something simple?
Answer from Support - In Project Settings - General, uncheck "Exclude missing form fields/parameters from data updates"
