 onchange event change mode edit to add

guys..help me.

i used grid and record builder for add, delete and edit. i used onchange event for dependent listboxs for my record form (for field state and city). the problem is everytime onchange event execute (when i select state) it will change the mode from edit to add . is there any solution for this?

Your mode is changed because ou are losing the ID on the URL.
Editmode: when there is an ID on the URL
AddMode if not.
Your listbox submit is not saving the Form Parameters.

Either change the onChange or make sure your parameters are all there.
