Hi.

I have often been wondering what the purpose is of "Use ODBC Cursor" in the Connection Server Tab?

This is PHP-only option. It's directly translated to 4th parameter of odbc_connect function. According to PHP doc enabling/disabling it may help in case of problems with executing complex stored procedures.
