I am running codecharge 3.1.1.0 under vista business. My MySQL ODBC 3.15 driver is version 3.51.14.00
When using the builders - for example the grid builder the populating of the data source dropdown takes a while, when the table is selected it takes a very long time for the available fields list to be populated , (more than 2 minutes) but it works eventually. Everything else seems to be OK. This operation works as expected when running under XP.
My vista installation has shown no evidence of communications problems and other applications connecting to MySQL systems operate fine.
I have tried re-installing codecharge with UAC turned off as suggested elsewhere in the forum - that makes no difference.
Has anyone encountered anything like this ? Any solutions ?

No guarantee:
Open Windows Live One Care
Select Change Settings
Disable Virus Scanner
Try again.
I experienced ultra slow Publishing (F8, F9).
After applying above trick, things speed up like 4 to 5 times.
(also on XP)
Another way is to kill process MsMpEng.Exe
Hope it helps, do not forget to switch back on or change virsuscanner
altogether LOL)
