I have a record with has 3 memo fields in it. After modifying the form to display an additional field, the record now on Updates reports the error message:

Field 'Roster.Notes' cannot be a zero-length string. (Microsoft JET Database Engine)

The field is empty and so are the other memo fields. In the past this never occured.

Any ideas why this is occurring?

I figured it out. The database must be configured to allow zero length fields.
