I remain absolutely amazed at some of the complex tasks CCS can perform with little knowledge or involvement on my part. On the other hand I am also baffled at how difficult it seems to be to do something extremely simple! I'm willing to admit this may just be me but I'd love to hear if someone knows how to do this,
- I want page 1 to display a search box
- I want page 2 to display a grid that shows the results of the search
So I create two blank pages and name them page1 and page2.
On page2 I use the grid builder to build a simple grid for displaying info from my customers table
One page1 I use the search builder to build a simple search and set it to go to page2 for display
No matter what I do, the grid on page2 always contains all data rather than using the search parameters set on page1.
I've tried to reduce the problem down to the simplest possible form but I bet I'm doing something dumb or overlooking something obvious. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd be much obliged!
