Wouldn't it be nice, to have CCS prefix table names.
Situation:
We are developing on a development system (f.i. XAMPP).
Building database tables (the schema) and building the application.
Each Page Form Grid etc is tied to the SQL through DataSource (VQB).
Now comes deployment time, using the ProjectSettings, Server Profile setting we define the parameters for the target system.
Through 3rd party tooling we move the tables to the target SQLDatabase, using the Profile we publish everything to the Server.
Testing follows and if all is well we are up and running.
Then comes the moment when others get interested in your application, cheerfully we create a third profile and publish to the new customers server.
As is popular in various other applications (Joomla, Mambo, CMSMS) we would like to create our tables with a prefix xxx_.
This would mean we would have catered for this in advance in which case tables will be prefixed but with the stress on fixed.
Therefore I submit this wish:
have a facility in Profile Setting to (optionally) set a table prefix per profile

May be I am missing something
But why not create new database with the same table names, then all you have to do is change the connection string ?

Because sometimes you may have a user/client that can only have one database (unless they are willing to pay extra money). By allowing them to be able to prefix the tables you can have more then one applications tables in the same database (thus cutting down cost-among other things).
