My System crashed, when I used CCS2 and the Query builder, so I found in the forum that there is a new version, that fixes this problem that occur, when you have the IE7 installed on your system.

My Problem is the following, I can not install the patched Version, because there is already a version of CCS2 installed on the system.
When I want to deinstall CodeCharge Studio 2 windows tells me that it can not be deinstalled because:
[translated from german]
Error while loading C:\PROGRA~1\GEMEIN~1\INSTALL~1\engine\6\INTEL3~1\Ctor.dll<UNINSTALL_CMD>
the quoted Module was not found.

Can anyone tell me how I get the fixed version on my PC?

I used to install the version of CCS with the IE6 could that be the Problem?
If someone knows the answer please help me, I have a deadline on a Project.

Thank you in advance

I had the same issue
This is the resposne I got back from CCS
1. Please remove or backup (in case there are no any custom projects, styles and etc in this folder) folder with prior version (Program Files\CodeChargeStudio)
2. Remove from registry the following keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio\Version
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\YesSoftware\CodeChargeStudio\Ver
Unfortunately, I had not tried it as I ended up migrating everything to a new machine.
Let me know if it works for you.

Ok I found a workaround, I had an old CD of CodeChargeStudio2 and I just reinstalled the old version over the current version, then I deinstalled everything and then installed the patched version vor the IE7 ....

This works so far. :-D

Now I have some other difficulties with the DB but that is a different story *sigh*

Thanks for the fast reply
