Hi, a newbie here.

I am looking at building a web application that will need multiple Login pages, four to be precise. Something like ;

General Members/Users
Musicians
Clubs
Administration

I want to have General Members/Users to be able to log in on any page and the others to have a single and separate login page for each, a link to them from the home page.

My query is, can you create multiple login pages in the one site with CCS. It looks like you can ......... just change the connection and data sources under the Data tab in Properties, for each login form.

Would this be correct, I don't want to design my site around this assumption and find it doesn't work, and too lazy to set up four tables and login pages to test it if somebody has a 2 second answer too it :*)

Thanks in advance for your time on a trivial question.

Cheers
Greg

I'm wondering about this now, from the documentation on the Project Settings window and clicking Security settings there to bring up the Security settings window, it appears as though you can have only one Login page after all as there is only one field to name your Login Page in .... so one Login Page for the whole project?

One Login page should suffice.
As if you hads more than one Login (per group) how would like to work with
that?
You user logs in with username password, you do not know which group he's
in.
The approach here should be to use the one login page, then dependent on the
retreived usergroup
redirect to the nedded home page.
So you would have to read up on Login and Redirect.

Technically you can create as many log in pages as you want but I would discourage you from doing that. I would however encourage you to make your login page be able to handle multiple user types (General Members/Users, Musicians, Clubs and Administration). Checkout this application that I built: http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=74329
It has multiple user types that have access to different areas and sections of the web application. Hopefully this will be helpful to you.

Thanks for your replies Walter and mamboBrown.

Food for thought, I will have to go away and do a lot more research on this it appears.

Nice application, mamboBrown.

Thanks again.
